Mandala Apparels (earlier named as Caos Apparels) is an export company catering to global markets with sustainable clothing and home furnishing products. The company raised impact investment by Aavishkaar fund and considered a rebranding exercise integrating all communication collaterals and brand standardization. The export house has social impact criteria of proving employment opportunities to women, ecological impact by sourcing only organic cotton and producing sustainable/ eco-friendly apparel for markets outside India.

Mandala apparels was rebranded with a clear brand strategy, standardization of brand and design language, website redesign and communication. The brand strategy to design had an approach towards a “holistic” and sustainable outlook towards design. The design language, the brand look and feel brought elements of eco-friendly, fiber to apparel product and ethicality in their company’s brand and communication.

The company also intends to foray into the domestic market with a private brand that will create a niche in the retail sector in apparel, and we outline a retail strategy and roadmap for it.
